Now That's Nutts
Nutts, as prescribed, is a CrossFit workout consisting of:
10 Handstand push-ups
250 pound Deadlift, 15 reps
25 Box jumps, 30 inch box
50 Pull-ups
100 Wallball shots, 20 pounds, 10'
200 Double-unders
Run 400 meters with a 45lb plate
I went to CrossFit Metropolis this morning to try to recreate Saturday's pull-up triumph. Sundays are just an open gym day, so it seemed like a good time to do that. After playing with trying to kip for a bit, I decided to work on my rowing. I rowed 1000 meters, and only then found out that some of the guys were going to do Nutts. I figured I'd join them, with some modifications.
I used a 95 lb barbell for deadlifts, an 18" box for the jumps, a band to assist my pull-ups, a 10lb ball and a 15 lb plate. I also substituted 50 kettlebell swings in for the double-unders because mine are still pretty bad.
So, was it Nutts? I suppose not. But it was nuts. And I am tired.
Good night!

Keep up the hardwork. I seriously get motivated by folks who step up their workout game. I think it helps keep all of us going. Congrats.
