Overhead Squat Video: A New 10 Rep Max
When I lift on my own, I like to record my sessions so I can see what I need to work on. Today, I used open gym time at CrossFit Metropolis to make up a workout that I had missed during the week: three sets of 10 overhead squats. Earlier this month, I scored a huge PR in this lift - three reps at 85 lbs. I was excited to try for a 10 rep PR today. When we did this workout back in April, I worked up to 60 lbs. Today, I did 65 lbs. That much weight for that many reps was tough - you can see how wobbly I got towards the end!
