Highlights From Yesterday's Workout
Yesterday morning's workout at CrossFit Metropolis consisted of thrusters and a 10 minute AMRAP (as many rounds as possible).
We did two rounds of five thrusters, two rounds of three thrusters and then three singles. This right here is the top of a 62 lb thruster:
Yesterday, I made it up to 72 lbs, which was a PR for me. I failed at 79 lbs.
The AMRAP was as many rounds of 10 burpees, 10 toes to bar (or knees to elbows) and 10 box jumps as you can do in 10 minutes. I got 4 rounds plus one burpee in.
I did a few toes to bar, but those really slow me down, so I mostly did knees to elbows:
Whee!

I think you'd be surprised at what you can do! The body is way stronger than the mind. Love the new site, too!
